O Morango
Flores que alimentam o mundo.
A flor do morango é muito singela. A beleza não é a sua principal característica. Aqui, as formigas fazem o trabalho de polinizá-la. Em troca, recebem seu néctar.
Uma vez polinizada, a pequena flor perde suas pétalas, enquanto um pequeno volume cresce em seu interior (ovário).
Aqui, já conseguimos perceber as formas finais, de um dos frutos mais consumidos em todo mundo...
...o nosso belo e apetitoso, morango.

Yum, strawberries! We had many of those in our backyard this past spring. I remember trying to photograph the white flowers without getting the white washed out. I've gotten better at photographing white.
